Things to do in Yelahanka & Airport Road

Yelahanka and the airport road cover Bengaluru's far north. Air Force Station Yelahanka hosts Aero India, the air show held in February of odd-numbered years, and the villages off the airport highway have open-air concert grounds: Terraform Arena has hosted Bryan Adams and Arijit Singh, and Echoes of Earth has been held at the Embassy International Riding School next door. Jakkur's lake and aerodrome are the everyday draws, while Devanahalli Fort and Nandi Hills are popular sunrise outings beyond the airport. Distances are long and there is no metro, so plan transport both ways and check whether the organiser runs shuttles.
