Things to do in Basavanagudi
4 events in basavanagudi across Bengaluru โ mostly dance (1), food (1), tech (1), heritage (1).
Basavanagudi, laid out after the plague of 1898, is one of Bengaluru's oldest planned neighbourhoods and is named after the Bull Temple and its monolithic Nandi. Gandhi Bazaar's flower, fruit and puja stalls, old tiffin rooms such as Vidyarthi Bhavan, Bugle Rock park and the VV Puram food street make it the city's best area for a food-and-heritage walk. The Bangalore Gayana Samaja on KR Road hosts Carnatic concerts, National College grounds take large fairs, and each year the Kadalekai Parishe groundnut fair fills Bull Temple Road. National College station on the Green Line is the closest stop.
