Things to do in Banashankari & Kanakapura Road

Banashankari and Kanakapura Road cover the south-western suburbs along the Green Line's final stretch. The Banashankari Amma temple is the area's landmark, and the neighbourhood's sabhas and college grounds host classical concerts and Kannada cultural programmes. Further out in Konanakunte, the Prestige Srihari Khoday Centre for Performing Arts, opened in 2023, is a 1,000-seat auditorium for theatre, dance and music beside the Forum mall. The Art of Living International Centre, on Kanakapura Road beyond the city limits, draws visitors for meditation programmes and Shivaratri. Banashankari, Konanakunte Cross and Silk Institute stations serve the corridor, so most venues here are metro-friendly.
