Things to do in Richmond Town & Shanthinagar

Richmond Town, Langford Town and Shanthinagar lie just south of the central business district, a mix of old bungalows, hospitals, schools and sports grounds. The Courtyard on KH Road, better known as Double Road, is a community space with a lawn, a glasshouse for pop-ups and workshops, a wine bar and a vinyl listening room; Johnson Market is a long-standing stop for kebabs; and comedy rooms operate around Museum Road. Further down Hosur Road, the NIMHANS Convention Centre takes conferences such as PyCon India. Traffic is slow at peak hours. The closest metro stations are MG Road on the Purple Line and Lalbagh on the Green Line.
