About Sabha BLR

Sabha is a cultural space in a conserved school building on Kamaraj Road in Shivajinagar. The buildings, roughly 160 years old, housed a Tamil-medium school run by RBANM's Educational Charities, founded in 1873, and were restored by the Ammini Trust, the philanthropic initiative of Hema and V. Ravichandar. The complex has an inner and an outer courtyard, a sloped-roof block used for performances, a flat-roofed gallery block and a café. Programming covers classical and contemporary music, poetry, theatre, exhibitions and workshops; the October 2026 calendar included a sarod concert on 17 October and an evening titled Aaj Rang Hai on 25 October. The venue is open from 10 am to 10 pm daily, is wheelchair accessible and has no parking.

Parking: No parking on site
