Things to do in Tumakuru Road (BIEC & Madavara)

Tumakuru Road, the highway heading north-west out of the city, is where Bengaluru stages its largest trade shows and some of its stadium-scale concerts. The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) at Madavara, a 57-acre campus run by the machine-tool industry body IMTMA, hosts the Bengaluru Tech Summit and industry expos through the year. The open ground sold on ticketing sites as NICE Grounds hosted Ed Sheeran in February 2025 and is booked for Fred again.. in December 2026. The Green Line's extension to Madavara, opened in November 2024, put a station beside the exhibition centre, which matters because the highway jams after big events.
