About Windmills, Whitefield
Windmills, long known as Windmills Craftworks, is the Whitefield venue that combines a microbrewery and restaurant with what it calls a jazz theatre: a listening room where ticketed concerts are the point of the evening rather than background music. Founded by the architect Kamal Sagar, it sits on an upper floor of a building in the EPIP Zone and is known for booking touring jazz and world-music artists alongside Indian acts, often with a late-evening start. Tickets are sold through the venue's own website. The company has since opened venues in Hyderabad, in January 2026, and near Dallas in the United States, and runs an outlet at Bengaluru airport's Terminal 1.
