About Jagriti Theatre

Jagriti Theatre is Whitefield's dedicated playhouse, a 200-seat auditorium with a full-thrust stage on Varthur Road. It was founded in 2011 by Arundhati and Jagdish Raja and is run by the not-for-profit ART Foundation. The programme mixes theatre with music, dance and stand-up comedy, and productions typically run from Friday to Sunday, with evening shows at 7:30 pm and weekend matinees at 3:30 pm. The theatre also hosts a free open mic on Saturdays, and a restaurant is attached to the building. Booking is through BookMyShow, and the theatre's house rules are strict about punctuality.
